This weekend, I went to Buffalo to celebrate Tom's birthday. This afternoon we stopped for lunch at a lovely little restaurant that was soaked in almost as much grease as the food we consumed. Having never tried a reuben sandwich, I decided that I would try one here. After waiting about two to three hours for the food to arrive I took a bite out of my sandwich to find that the restaurant had not served me the sandwich made famous by Reuben Kulakofsky, but instead, they served me the Ramsey sandwich.
Ingredients: drained sauerkraut, chopped sweet onion, chopped parsley, creamy Thousand Island dressing, submarine sandwich bread
Since my last post, I have done a lot of student teaching, taken the GRE, done well on the GRE, taken two education certification exams, purchased a computer, had the computer shipped to the wrong address, retrieved the computer, created a teaching portfolio, had my paperwork, teaching ability, and said portfolio evaluated by my college, worked, worked, worked, enjoyed the Colbert Report greatly, and as I do everyday from 7:30AM-9:15AM, watched the movie Phenomenon, starring John Travolta.
Oh, so I had a birthday on the fifth. Turned 21. Pretty cool.
