Pretentious nerd.

I am pretentious. My New Yorker subscription having just started up again, I was excited to find that an even more obscure literary magazine that I enjoy was skewering the former magazine's cartoon clichés.

I am a nerd because I'm excited to go home and install the new iTunes which supports podcasting.

I really want to know how many blog posts there are out there from people who are irritated because their iPod didn't charge when they left it overnight on the "It is now safe to disconnect your iPod" screen.

I'm making it through (somehow), but I want to read some full-out deperessed blog entries because they couldn't listen to the new Bright Eyes single.

Update 3:20 PM: Poor little guy just tuckered out after a good hour and forty-five minutes of playing on just one battery bar. Thank you little iPod.

This weekend, my lovely girlfriend Maureen came on down to Warsaw-town. We did not tip any cows, believe it or not.

We did, however, swim, look at giant windmills, play with my Lincoln figure (not a euphemism), and just generally hang out. For you, the reader of my blog's benefit, I have documented much of the weekend in photographs. Just click on the smiling people you see to your left.

As prophesized earlier, I received my camera in the mail today and started a flickr account. I'm kind of fooling around with this right now, ut I think if you click on me over there you can see some pictures that I took. We'll wait and see.

New Beatnik Strip
